If a parent has a terminal illness and accepts the fact that death is approaching, it is usually advisable that a child in the family is

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

kept uninformed of the impending death

informed that even though the parent doesn't feel well "everything will be all right"

told only that the parent is ill and under the doctor's care

included in helping the family deal with the parent's death

Hmm...the last option assumes the parent to be dead already! Still, I think I'd mark the last one.

  #3

you r right frontal....last option assumes the parent to be dead already....so why not .... told only the parent is ill and under doctor's care????

  #4

none of the options actually seem to be the best answer.

it is important to tell the truth and prepare for the worse.

If you don't tell the impending death and have the family prepares for the impending death, you will get a lawsuit !
