I've searched all the previous posts on this forum but have been unable to get an answer. Please, please, somebody enlighten me - for applying to IM, is Observership a better option or Clinical Research?

From what I have read and heard my understanding is that the externship weighs more than the observership which weighs more than research. Now, if while being involved with research, one publishes something. they say that it has a great impact.

I think both are good, maybe they (observership and clinical research) have a similar impact. That's my opinion.
