I am not well versed in all those tests that you mentioned  but do hope your mother's tests turn out fine...and she is in the clear

Hi, Hi, Well I am back!, I am going to use this weekend to kind of gather my stuff again, and think of how to start.
Like your avatar keepgoing! Thank you for bringing my journal back to the first page jejeje, I bet you had a hard time finding it way back in the last pages.
As some of you may know, I have 2 jobs, one in a health center and one teaching, so I am going to have vacation from teaching all December, so I want to use those hours and add them to my study time, at list in December.
I have lost the money for the exam, again, so I have to start saving to be able to pay it again, (for the third time) , so I think the third one is the charm, right?, or something like that, jeje, so this is it, I have to do it!!!
I just saw a DVD called "the secret", it is about the power of intention, and being positive and thinking what you want and making it happen, so I am trying to get into the groove again, I have lost my sence or the feelling of wanting this and I have lost my focus, and I think that re-starting to visit this forum and being in touch with all of you guys is a very good start!
My birthday was yesterday!, so I have the opportunity to start this new year with a more positive attitude and finally fulfilling my dreams, I have to focus and see myself how I want to be and what I want to be doing in the next 5 to 10 years and for the rest of my life, and there is no doubt in my mind, this is what I want, and I will get it!

I have been in the same situation as you, working 2 or even 3 jobs, too busy at the end of the day to study, going back on track then lose focus. It is up to you now, you should choose what you are going to do with your life. USMLE is a matter of 18 to 24 months... If you are willing to sacrifice this time for a life as a doctor in the US, I think it is worth taking the risk.
I realised my main problem was FOCUS. If I do start by 10 AM, it is going to be a good day. Some people can work and study at the same time, I can't...If you have to be unemployed for a certain length of time, it is up to you...
And remember, you can, if you think you can!

Well, I don't have good news. Been swamped by work, I think by the end of the week will be ready to focus, do a better schedule and concentrate on USMLE.

Hey guys, guess what?!!.....I started studying today!
I have from today to February 3rd to finish first read of physio, so far I have seen the lectures of the first two chapters, I am starting section II.
I feel good, good good, good, this is it!!, I am not stopping, I am not taking breaks from my preparation, I am not doubting myself anymore or thinking of excuses, this is what I want, I have always known it, and I will no longer boicot myself, I have to learn to be my best friend as strange, corny, or bizarre as that sounds like, that is what I have to do.

What book will u use for physio.
I already read it once, months ago, and I can't get those physio Qs...
I am restarting it tomorrow with Kaplan and BRS.

I am using kaplan, I also have BRS physio but I am not sure if I am going to have the time to read that also, so I think that I am sticking with kaplan.

PHYSIOLOGY.- First Section complete. (Video)
Started at 5:30 p.m., stopped at 7:56, that is only 2 hours of study time.
But I am trying to focus on the good things, and considering I had not read anything in the past months, I think two hours is at list a start, but I have to do better every day.

Finished reading Section II Excitable tissue: chaper 1, 2, and 3.
Tomorrow will do questions at the end of chapter 3 and will see the videos for this section and start Section III
