I`m an IMG... Is it a good Idea to start studing for the step 3 just after doing step 2 Ck... some people said that is better to do it on your residency... what do you think?

it's definitely better to study and write step 3 as soon as u r done with step 2 CK.the step 2 baseline knowledge helps u alot and u have time to study.once in residency it's very difficult to find time to do mcqs....ur so worn out.
go ahead and get step 3 done and out of the way at the earliest.
i gave step 3 soon after step 2.just studied for a month for step 3 and thankgod i passed.
now i'll have no exam worries during residency
