I am taking Step I in June, and I would like to find out about the practice exams - CBT practice exam from usmle.org and 4 NBME forms. Which one would be worthy to take? When would be the appropriate time to take these exams? How many should I take? Thank you! smiling face

take all 4 NBME exams starting in 3rd week of May if you are taking exam in say mid june to late june. But if finance is the problem atleast take NBME 3 and 4. CBT practice exam is nothing but they give you that experience to sit in that room and practice the practice test questions which are already available on the website for free. You can solve them at home rather than going to the Prometric centre and solving them. And if you havent yet bought Q bank, Buy IT/ It is a must. That is enough. But if you still have enough appetite and done revising everything , you can take NMS tests (17 blocks) available in NMS series book format with a CD.

Thank you, lakshya.

I heard that NBME full length can be quite energy draining. How can we use it to maximize our studying?
