hay...if fetus is not moving we always suspect fetal demise...which is assessed with sonogram .we look for cardiac motion....biophysical profile is answer if fetus has decreased movements....for absent movements sonogram will be answer....

interestingly it it not an option.... smiling face

Hey Jinxed,
Doesnt Biophysical profile include USG(to assess movt, extremity tone, breathing movement and AFvolume) & NST?If so,the USG will be taken care of in the test itself. ice.

No doubt here, 4 is the answer. Case closed.

iam sorry i had typed biophysical profile wrongly...if movements are decreased we do NST...not biophysical profile directly....so ultrasound for absent movements and NST for decreased movements....i hope my point is clear now...
