Yes, 30 year old woman with puritis ---> colestatic puritis---->probably due to primary biliary cirrohosis

No you brought an excellent point

The exam will ask you about scabies but................

A man or woman presents with puritis but the children also had puritis last week.

Scabies question concentrates on the transmission of the disease in close contact like family.

PBC Primary biliary cirrohosis is just one example of young 30 year old woman with puritis indicating by elevated alkaline phosphatase and pssible normal liver function test
