in case of complex partial seizures n dissociative fugue there can be a pt of confusion i.e their similarity ; in both of them the patient just wanders but the DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS of dissociative fugue is that in dissociative fugue their occurs purposeful buying of air or bus tickets n the assumption of a new identity which does not occur in complex partial seizures.
& abnormal EEG does not occur in dissociative fugue which occurs in complex partial seizures.
