i was actually feeling a bit low due to the uw performance
i wonder how some people manage in 80's even 90's in this
but one has to move on
no second way
if this exam is going to be like this

it is a long gap since i last wrote in my diary
i did q book kaplan
got 90's in obg
but 65+ in peds
then went on to do usmle cd
38\46,41\46,36\46
did my exam on 22nd july
it went fine
only thing i will say is it is good to read choices before q sometimes
but i prefered to do other way as the flow ofq is there & u don't waste time in reading choices twice
so better to read q first then choices if the q is not too long
now on to cs

Hey doc81, Im a newbie here at the journal entries forum, but as I can see you have worked hard for this, now its to relax and wait for your all deserved success...
What do you think of the exam is it as hard as UW?
Everytime I do UW I feel my photon energy (glucose level) is being drained and my spilder (brain) becomes fried.. Something I have never felt be4... Is the test at the same level or is it kinder on your neurons?

first of all good luck with ur prep
uw prepares u for the exam very well
like u know the format of the exam
u get well aquainted with it
plus the time management thing is out of ur way
so it prepares u well for the marathon
but the q in uw are tougher than the real exam
atleaset in my set of q u could figure things out
in uw sometimes q are so full of data they swirl ur mind like anything
but it is the best source of q
let the low scores not bother u
plus kaplan notes are really good
just keep working
i know there will be dark moments in prep
but just go on
use uw as learning tool
