Cool solution This causes vasoconstriction. Usually local anesthetics is mixed with Epinephrin, causing vasoconstriction to decrease pain and absorption speed.

tissue irritation is related to acidity therefore increasing pH will decrease pain.

i think it's bicarbonate. Anesthesiologists use it.

I have nothing to add to the explanation given by babli. Adding sodium bicarbonate to the mixture is correct
