please help me, does anyone think its worthwhile to review physical diagnosis since i've seen several q's from nbme, qbank and other sources mention specific signs and symptoms like egophony which aren't in the top path reviews

You should remember the most unique point to orient a disease, mostly one or two points. This will help- of course you- determine which disease the Q is talking about.
