Don't know, please explain why would you use this drug.

Why the classic tx is missing and only hifi names are there in the options.

Herceptin (Tratzumumab), Tamoxifen, Abraxane (Paclitaxel suspension), Taxotere (Docetaxel) are commly used in practice. Aminogluthemide is indeed hormone inhibitor. But used in adrenal cancer though. Higly toxic.

aminoglutethimide is a first generation hormone inhibitor... Some of the eldest studies about hormonal inhibitors were about aminoglutethimide. But, it ain't used anymore because it is waay too toxic. We prefer to use Tamoxifen, or Letrozole or Arimidex, these days. Even Raloxifen has been used as a hormonal inhibitor as well...

yes daniel. i guess it was a purely theretical question being asked and of all the options aminoglutethimide is the best answer. i wonder if such questions are asked???

Aminoglutethimide is an aromatase inhibitor used in the treatment of breast cancer and Cushing's syndrome. It blocks the synthesis of estrogen.

AI blocks the testosterone and its derivatives conversion to estrogen

AI blocks the androstendedine and testosterone conversion to estrone and estradiol and eventually to estrogen.

technically it is blockage of synthesis of estrogen
