Hi friends,
planning to start preparing for step 2 ck so wanted to know wht all material has 2 b used....
is it imp 2 join kaplan course/can we get kaplan lectures on dvd?
had used FA for 1st step.....wht bout for step 2 ck?how many mnths prep is needed?
am totally lost as to where to begin,so your advice will mean a lot!!
P.S:by wht mnth shud step 2 cs b cleared to apply for 2007 match?

Use Kaplan, FA , Step 2 Secrets. you should be ECFMG certified by September, hence 3 months before September should be ok

how bout step 2 cs.....actually am bit confused as to which exam i shud give first.....cs/ck in terms of being ecfmg certified as early as possbile!
how many days prep needed for step 2 cs?wht all books shud i use?

Do step 2 CS first as the dates available are harder to come by. I did mine in Philly, the hotel is just around the corner to the center.
Use USMLEworld for Step 2 CS, it took me 1 month to prepare. You will need a practice partner. that helps alot. Its not an easy exam, its not only a test of your spoken language skills its also a test of your clinical skills on your ability to ask the right questions to the right case.
