A 47-year-old man comes in for evaluation of arthritis of his second and third metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints. He also has some swelling of the right knee. correct answer is C.. He has hemachromatosis and has the classic associated arthritis along with infertility, diabetes, and cardiomyopathy. The gold standard for diagnosis is liver biopsy and iron staining.
