Hi everyone,
What is the difference between clinical clerkship, clinical externship and elective courses? Does anyone know?

clerkship - generally refers to the core clerkship, taken by AMGs in 3rd year like medicine, surgery etc
electives - taken by AMGs/IMGs in 4th/final year of med school. as is an elective, so one can choose what one wants to do like ICU, transplant surgery etc
externship - done by med school graduates.
