Hi, I have done MBBS and planning to take USMLE step 1 and 2, but i got feedback from lots of people that visa is always a issue after that. Can you please give me some guidance on how I should proceed. Also some of my friends said I should also give GRE and then on basis of that I should take admission and get to US. Then over there I should take step 3. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Regards

It seems getting a visa for indian and also other south asian nationals is very difficult these days..... all of the people whom I know who sat for USMLE were refused visa last year and this year.I'm not sure about the GRE you mentioned as a backdoor for entering.Alot of people after being refused visa opted for the PLAB instead or continue remaining in India.
