this is for all you guy out there preparing for step 1
this is what i learnt from my mistakes
exammaster is a big no no unless you are preparing long term
kaplan q bank is good
so is nms and appleton n lange
while kaplan iv qbank is not worth the effort of reading it or buying it
under ground cl vigenettes not so useful
do kaplan diagnostic test
usmle cd you may not get the same q but you can get the same graph or diagram with a diff q
tryn grasp the concepts
your memory alone will not take you far its just the starting point
and only way to do is as many mcqs as possible aftera thorough reading of the review material
there is lot of high rated material
but those who are about to start will benefit from going thru the post at this websites
trust fa rating except for their own book
guys face it fa 1 is good but rest just dont match up to it
study and do q write the points you were wrong about and clarify them dont postpone invariably youy ll get a question which you did not bother to clarify
and guys while you take the exam take more breaks it helps you organize your thoughts
a week after the exam i m wondering if i ll pass guy dont learn it the hard way i hope you ll learn from my mistakes
another thing dont worry bout who studied for how many hours
