hi guys ,
well , yesterday i saw this movie"space station " 3D version in imax .....waw ,it was amazing ,beautifully picturised ........and i read in the frieda that there is something called as space medicine .........if anybody knows abt that plz give me some info .........
read in the newspaper that nasa is planning for a space tour in 2008 for which so many have applied , as many 45000 have already booked ...........will there be a demand for space medicine ........thinking y to go for the same internal medicine that everybody is opting for , y not something different..........

hi there. its an average paying field with a great difficulty in findin jobs. espec if ur non american as it involves sensitive issues. jobs only in nasa, airforce and other aerospace companies. most docs are pilots themselves. knew a staff sergeant in fighter squadron from ethopia who did a ms in aerospace related study and gave up tryin for md aerospace med. its a good 2nd residency to do after ur md in internal medicine. bcoz if u dont get a job - then u have somethin to fall back on for bringin home the bacon

ooh apurva , thanks for the info , i spoke to my dad abt it , he laughed ..........anyway, i was curious to know , now the space medicine is out of my mind .......
