No,please dont think you are going to fail when you study.

May be you can use q-bank as a learning tool along with your books and give nbme after a round of revision to assess yourself.

Hi, aqua:

I am also give another try in July. I agree with Meroon. I am using Kaplan Qbank along with my study. I wonder in the end of the study which Qbank I should use to test myself(beside NBME)? Any comments?

Good luck with your study

Zhoufg, you can use usmle CD that they give you after the registration.

Aqua, all of us make silly mistakes while doing questions, but these mistakes help you to be careful next time.Where ever you went wrong, that point will never be forgotten.so you will do it right in actual exam.

Hi

I think ur friend is wrong when she says no point in doing q-bank again. U need to know q-bank inside and out. Yes use it as a learning tool. Q-bank is the key!!!!!

hi

yes mavis...i will do qbank again...

i have a silly questions....i scored 73 in first attempt....is it possible that i dont get more than 75 this time and score low than 73 in second time.....:$:$

when u do the q bank, note down which ones you get wrong and come back to them the following day and go over why a certain thing is right and the others are wrong. also if you r not sure of an explanation, look up the topic in your robbins path book or another book for a further explanation rather then just trying to memorize it. i use to just try and memorize the explanation without completely understanding it and i kept getting the same thing wrong over and over again.

meroon, thank you. I have done usmle CD Qs a few times. Qs from that CD seem never be changed. I am still wondering what Qbank I should use beside kaplan? Usmleasy? Any suggestion?

aqua, I registered for June -Augst, but I have not recieved yet. Does anyone know when will be the most popular time for the most american graduate to take this test? I am wondering why my aplication has been taken so long (> one month) ?

Hey,

for step 1 try nbme...al forms..there are 4 forms but they are exactly like what comes in real exam...try to got in tutor mode for the 1st 2 ones & then timed mode in the last 2 ones.

I didn't mean all the questions are gonna be exactly like that but more or less the q format is similar to real exam rather than the kaplan q bank
