Hi,
Does anybody know what book is good for Behavioral science apart from Kaplan,

what is everybody's view about --

1)Appleton and Lange's Review of Epidemiology and Biostatistics for the USMLE by Edward J. Hanrahan and Gangadhar madupu

2)BRS Behavioral

You see the most difficuilt topic is - Epidemilogy and Statistics,

So do you all think we should review more than one book to get a good hold on this topic.

one reason i am asking this is , these cost , and i already have kaplan.
Is it worth buying any of the above apart from kaplan

Would appreciate everybodys input
Thanks

aND WHAT ABOUT ;
HIGH YIELD - behavioral Science by - Barbara Fadem ??

BRS BS by Fadem is good, but not for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, same about High-Yield BS by the same author - Epidemiology and Biostatistics are worst chapters in her books. Otherwise BRS is better than High-Yield - much more complete, with good MCQs, and it's newer - BRS - 2004, High-Yield - 2001.
For Epidemiology and Biostatistics I recommend High-Yield Biostatistics, by Glaser, 2004, 104p. it also includes epidemiology.
Appleton and Lange's Review of Epidemiology and Biostatistics for the USMLE by Hanrahan, 1994, 109p. is also good, but I think very outdated - you know, Epidemiology and Biostatistics aren't changing, but definition of how much of them is presented on step 1 and which topics are presented more and which topics - less, is changing and evolving continuously.
If you can afford, buy both of them - if not - get only High-Yield Biostatistics.
