1) 18 year old boy complains of dull ache in the scrotum. he hit in that area during a basket ball game.on exam it is 2 cm hard, does not transilluminate. there is no change in the size of the mass in the supine position. whats the diagnosis germinal cell tumour vascular trauma 2) 82 year old female is accompanied by her grand daughter who says that she her grandmother has become forget ful over the past 6 months. the old lady lives independently. the granddaughter says that on several occasions the old lady has left the stove on and went to bed. she has some memory lapses. the old lady says that she has trouble sleeping at night and has lost 10 pound weight loss over 1 month. she had similar episodes 2 and 5 years back which was successfully treated with medications her vitals are normal.

thanks folks ........about question number 2, i think that the old lady has major depression....inview of her weight loss, memory loss,and past history of being treated successfully for similar episodes
