I had a bad experience last saturday when trying to do the OASIS trick. I tried it and it let me go and do a new application for STEP1. I got scared, and was sure I had failed, because for the last few days I had tried to re-apply and could not. I told everybody in my family I had failed, and started planning to retake the exam.
But I did not notice that my scores had not been reported yet, and that saturday was April 1st, the first day after the end of my eligibility period!
So, the thing is, when your eligibility period ends, IWA system automatically lets you re-apply, even if you already passed the exam.
This morning (thursday) I checked OASIS and my scores had been reported yesterday, so I tried IWA again and could not re-apply. Instead of it, I saw the red screen: "Our records indicate you have already passed this exam...". I was wrong, and passed STEP 1!!!
So, my advice is, be careful when trying to do the OASIS trick before your score has been reported, and just after the end of your eligibility period.

Yeah...thats standard - do the OASIS trick ONLY after the score report has been updated on the OASIS system
