Hi, I have been having a problem getting my score on NBME above 400. I have studied kaplan, Pass and FA while doing q bank and q book Q's. I have another month left before my exam. I know alot of you guys score over 500 on nbme so any suggestions in helping me improve my grade would be appreciated. thanks

go over the Kaplan notes and Qbank of ur weakest topics first, thats a pragmatic approach in the time left

we often try to first finish topics that we like and more comfortable with ..leaving the disliked ones like acid-base, nephro, neuroanat for later...and thats not right with the time left

thanks digital i think the way the questions are worded on nbme is also a problem for me. they seem much more pickier then kaplan qbank type which are longer and more clinically based. anyone else notice that?

NBME is alot more tertiary ?s You need to be very active while reading an NBME question because you will need 2 or sometimes 3 steps to get to the final answer. QBank you can just stare at the question and as soon as your eye hits a buzz word you can pick an answer without reading anything else. Just keep thinking while reading questions for NBME.
