FA for CS say that in order to take CSA students must have passed step 1. i checked from ECFMG and they say that their is no such precondition. can any body help me

Well that used to be the case , but since last yr this is no more an obligation. You can take the exams in whatever order you desire. You can certainly take CS before u have taken either step 1 or 2 CK. All you need to do is to get registered with ECFMG for the exam.
