hello people, i am new out here. right now im refering to ROBBINS & COTRAN PATHOLOGIC BASIS OF DISEASE. is it SUFFICIENT? or i need more books like GOLJAN(I heard this name for the first time here while reading the path forum topics) OR PATHOLOGY BRS (or any other book u know) please help!!!!

don't use robbins for step 1, just as a reference. stick to review books like brs path or goljan rapid review and his audio lectures

'ROBBINS & COTRAN PATHOLOGIC BASIS OF DISEASE' is too detailed for USMLE step 1 - use other books from the ROBBINS family: 'ROBBINS BASIC PATHOLOGY' (just sufficient details for very high score) in combination with 'ROBBINS AND COTRAN REVIEW OF PATHOLOGY' (best pathology MCQs). about other books - read my exam experience: http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/28886

thank u general malaise & p53. actually im doing my 2nd year MBBS & i read pathologic basis of disease. will it be better if i study for preparing for usmle right from now.(i mean read all those books right now.) if i have to order goljan what should i do. because when i gave 'golan' for search on ebay,it showed ZERO search-results
