Cell-mediated immunity may be a factor in viral pathogenesis because cytotoxic T cells can destroy virally infected cells. In which of the following disease is this process best demonstrated? A-POLIOMYELITIS B-YELLOW FEVER C-INFLUENZA D-RABIES E-HEPATITIS B PLEASE EXPLAIN

E. Because this is how hepatic cells are destroyed, not by virus, but by T-cells

Nope, Hep B is wrong because virus infected cells are not destroyed and there is infact chronic shedding. My answer is C. Influenza - because there are no primary complications from the virus (which means the virus is destroyed) and does not last long (ofcourse there are secondary comps. from the reduced immunity).
