Cell-mediated immunity may be a factor in viral pathogenesis because cytotoxic T cells can destroy virally infected cells. In which of the following disease is this process best demonstrated?

A-POLIOMYELITIS
B-YELLOW FEVER
C-INFLUENZA
D-RABIES
E-HEPATITIS B

PLEASE EXPLAIN

E. Because this is how hepatic cells are destroyed, not by virus, but by T-cells

Nope, Hep B is wrong because virus infected cells are not destroyed and there is infact chronic shedding.

My answer is C. Influenza - because there are no primary complications from the virus (which means the virus is destroyed) and does not last long (ofcourse there are secondary comps. from the reduced immunity).
