USMLEGladiator, what is so special about me you'd like to know? ;0)
I graduated in 1992, did internship in my country and practiced years as a physician there before I moved to USA. I have 99/99, did 3 month long externship which gave me 3 wonderful ( among 5 ) LORs in addition to one I have from the professor I worked with in my country. No publications. I think that the only thing that " saved" me this year was an externship because the friend of mine who has exactly the same credentials but no externship did not match this year. I know we all " try on" each other's credentials to see where we fit, but sometimes it does not work that way. Why? Bits me.
