hey all
first of all i would like to thank evryone on this forum, i wasnt really that active but ppl here helped me alot from step 1 to interviews to step 3 and every single thing in between
when i took step 3 i was concerned for alot of reasons
i scored 83 on step 2 ck and i took it around 15 months before i took step 3
the purpose of this thread is to help ppl who are in a situation like i used to and not to brag about what i did
botton line is i kept trying to find an easy way around step 3 and all i need is a passing score
in my opinion if u do usmleworld qbank and ccs cases and read crush step 3 at least once and make sure u can read and understand the questions fast ( no time problems in the exam) u will be fine
what i did with usmleworld was do all the mcqs and then write down notes to any question i did by chance or i didnt know the asnwer to i ended up having 10 pages of notes at the same time i ended knowing what areas i'm weak at
read a few topics from washington manual ( 3 days) and erad my notes again and that was it
the reason i'm saying this is that i personally think anyone who got 90 or more on step 2 shouldnt have any problem at all in step 3 but i'm sure there are alot out there who think step 3 is harder and not sure of what they can do
i scored 55% on usmleworld and i think it correlated well with the exams .. questions were similar and it was very helpful
i hope this topics helps all or at laest the ppl who scored lower on step 1 and 2 and were wondering if they are wel prepared for step 3
i can honestly say i did not study that hard but i slept well and went to the exam confident and paid alot of attention while doing the mcq on UW

I did something similar with my step 2 preparation (mostly crush an UW) and got an 83. can you plz post your step 3 score.
