hey all i'm currently in the process of getting my state lisence and applying for an H!-B visa on every forum and everyone i know everyone does this thru a lawyer now i know that we didnt spend this much time, effort and money to screw it up at the end for wanting to save 1000 bucks but my question was .. what is the lawyer gonna do for me? what service is he providing that costs 1000 dollars? is it more than just paper work? ir it more than filling a form? has anyone every done this without a lawyer i'm waiting for any suggestions from all of you good luck to u all

Now, according to what I know - your employer should be paying for all the fees for your H1b visa. It's written to the rules of the visa that the EMPLOYER must pay - including the preminum processing (that's new this year). Check with your employer and the attorney that they use.
