Hi am just starting to read for the usmle step i and am confused about what books to read i have a set of kaplan 2003 books am reading presently is there any use getting new ones oor should i get the videos or the brs series and high yield for anatomy am confused

Welcome and Good luck for step 1 prep. I think u should first finish one reading of lecture notes and then go thru the videos[ they really help u in clearing the concept ].Then go thru MCQs with the second reading . This way u can evaluate your self that how much more you have to study . If u can find Goljan audio lectures for patho than thats best.No need to have his lecture notes u can go with Kaplan patho. but with all videos or audio u must have to finish first reading before starting them.

For the lecture notes i think even 2003 will be fine. Just remeber stick to one source and revise as many time as u can. I hope this help u .
