wat is the diff between splice donor n splice acceptor mutation?

I think ou know what splicing is.

donor: durring splicing, the final product mRNA is shorter than it should be du to a loss of one or more exons (and maybe parts of exons ?!)

acceptor: the mRNA is longer due to a defect in the excisio of introns. it my cantain whole or parts of introns which are not recognized as introns and are translated into defective, longer proteins
