Hope this helps, ERAS 2007 Applicant Timeline Date<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Activity Mid-June 2006 ERAS 2007 Applicant Manuals will be available for PDF download by chapters or in its entirety on our Web site. Late June 2006 Schools may begin to generate and distribute MyERAS tokens to applicants. July 1, 2006 MyERAS[/ color] Web site opens to applicants to begin working on their applications. July 15, 2006 Osteopathic applicants may begin selecting and applying to Osteopathic Internship programs ONLY. Osteopathic Internship programs can begin contacting the ERAS PostOffice to download application files. September 1, 2006 Applicants may begin applying to ACGME accredited programs September 1, 2006 ACGME accredited programs may begin contacting the ERAS PostOffice to download application files. November 1, 2006 MSPEs' are released. December 2006 Military Match January 2007 [color=#2b6d73]Urology Match February 2007 Osteopathic Match March 2007 NRMP Match results will be available. May 31, 2007 ERAS I copied the following answer from a senior member that I got for a similar question, hope it helps: RESIDENCY TIMELINE You need to start on your application now. By that I mean you need to create a personal statement and a CV (a longer form of resume') as soon as possible. These are very important and take some time and thinking. It's not like medical school applications, program directors actually read both very very carefully (I matched this past year, so I know) Get your ERAS token as soon as you can and start working on your application now, September 1st comes quickly, especially when you're trying to study for step 2. The more competitive the specialty you're applying to the earlier you need to get your application sent out to ERAS, with Sept. 1st being the earliest, and best date to send it. 1) The deadline for ERAS in december applies only to when you have to have your ERAS application in by. It has no bearing on when your rotations have to be finished or when you take step II CS. You have to have passed all the steps by the rank order deadline which is usually around Feb 23 or you will be withdrawn from the match. 2) Sometime in april or so, you go onto the ECFMG website and apply ($75) for your ERAS "token." this token is a code which is emailed to you that allows you to initially register on the ERAS website which opens in the middle of July. The ERAS application is an online 15 page application that you submit to all the rresidency programs you are intersted in. the application includes everything you have done in med school, extracurriculars, research, personal statements, CV, etc. The first opportunity to submit it is in early September. This also costs mucho dinero depending on how many programs you apply to. After you submit it, you sit back and wait for programs to contact you for an interview. 3) it does not matter when you register with the NRMP website, just as long as you do it before the deadline. This website only comes into play after you have interviewed at the programs of your choice and its time to rank them. This is the match website, where you submit your rank order list. On match day, this is the site where you find out if you matched and a couple of days later its where you find out where you matched. Hope this helps If this wasn't what you ask or needed please let us know. Good luck! Yolanda
