i feel i am going so slow with my studies.every subject is taking so long.so i'm starting my diary-i'll write down each day what i did.so i'll know my output and also know how much time i wasted each day
hope this will help me stick to schedule and get good results

couldn't do much today. was ill but better now

Good luck acemle.. Start w/ the hardest subject for you , take notes, practice w/ q's early in your review... work hard(aren't we all?) & you'll do great!!

dont think about the time waisted. It'll only depress you and make you feel like you gotta hurry and rush things. Its not the best mindset.
Adjust your daily goals and realize you're only human. You'll feel better and I think will accomplish more.

hi today is April 1stl, I"ll be taking the test in 1st week of june, no turning back.
Have to work really hard & I will. That is it!! Have to beat this monster !!
Did Electrolytes, but still not comfortable with it, Today have to revise GIT & do qs & also hopefully rheumatology.

well,im back .just finished with dermatology and today will do some questions and opthalmology.

Hi acemle,
How did the qs go? i did little bit of CVS , without any qs yesterday, nothing today, but now i am at the library till 10pm, will try to finish as much as possible in 3 hrs, i know it is not enough . have to finish reviewing GIT & CVS this week. AND YES QS toooooooo !!

Well CVS is taking forever, i think that is Ok since most of the qs are CVS related. Have to finish Valvular heart dis & Arrythmias. did you guys just do it from Kaplan, I think it is not enough , what do u suggest acemle, cmdt-img or any other kind soul ????
cmdt-img, i think it is a good idea to combine IM & Peads. My exam is in 2 months too, & I too need a lot of motivation. Have to do 65 qs from CVS today .Hope to complete them.

hi , agn and acemle u people r going great , we must keep our spirits high , the same way . well yes agn , cvs is too tough , i did from kaplan only , but it feels not enough . u.w was tough too , got 58% , bad score . but we must not stop , no time for depression and frustrations , must go on .

sorry diary
havent been here for so long.just got busy with some work in the family. between everything else and studies, lot of time wasted.
must change that now.get really serious and plan my work and follow that plan.gonna write my diary progress regularly so i know where i stand.
help me god ,please and guide me through everything and give me strength to work hard and score good.im gonna aim for99 now.not that i'm a genius but i must study hard and i can do it.just read and understand everything and try to retain it in my poroushead from where things just seep out.got to block all those holes by practice, practice and practice.
i subscribed to usmle world ,..finally. but didnt have the courage to use it for 2 whole days.finally started with dermatology.will now move on to the bigger things probably obgyn nxt.gonna take 2 days to finish it.hope i can do that.no.. i will do that
that's the way .i'll do it.i know if i keep too little work for myself i 'll end up doin nothing.so got to do that .everybody here is so mtivated and hard working ,i feel im the only lazy one moving at snail's pace so no lazing now, no looong breaks, and no daydreaming when studying.try to apply the concepts and understand them.
good luck to me .strive for a 99.its not easy but it needs dedication,committment and perservance and god's blessings.and god helps those who help themselves.so off to some serious work.best of luck.

I wasted saturday,No i wouldnt say ..........wasted ............kids need their mommy too , so decided to spend the day with my beautiful kids & my hubby.

We really need to concentrate & focus, u r right no time for day dreaming & do lots & lots of qs, ace, did u do Kaplan q bank? I am done with half of UW, scores are not good enough , cant even write them down, people score really well in UW , i am far away from those scores http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/templates/default...

hey cmdt , i used Kaplan & CMDT for CVS , but not everything from CMDT, just few topics like, MI, Angina, & Cardiomyopathies & pericarditis.
