hi,
i an IMG,studying for step1.can somebody advice me about joing kaplan cs classes.should i join 6day course of cs?
please help.

hi dipti,
I personally dont think there is any need to join kaplan classes for step 2 cs. if you practice all the cases if first aid and do usmle world thats more than enough. what you really need in this test is practice. u can practice with non-medical friends as well. just ask them to enact a case, time it, follow the basic protocol and you will be fine.
thats the only thing i did. i was in the middle of my Masters thesis, studied for about 3 weeks, about 2-3 hours a day and i was ok. its mainly a test of ur communication skills and how clearly u write patient notes.

A much better course is passcsa in Philadelphia. You see 10 Sps for less than $500 and also get very good training for communications skills and physical exam. I took this course, did the cases in their book, FA, and UW cases and I passed easily. GL with your exam.
