Hi It would be nice if some of the experienced ppl can throw some light on as to how the different steps particularly step1,step2ck and step2 cs compare apropos thier difficulty level on a scale of 1-10? Secondly, it wouls do immense good to lots of ppl like me who are interested in knowing whether the difficulty levels are the same irrespective of the fact that a person is fresh graduate or has put in many years of clinical experience. Thanks to all who choose to respond Best wishes vk

hi there. A scale would be very relative, so iīm gonna do it in a different way. Step 1 is the most difficult. Step 2 CK is intermediate. Itīs easiest if you have some clinical experience or you are a specialist. Step 2 CS is the easiest. You just need some clinical experience and being able to speak english in a decent way. thatīs my opinion. You can be an old graduate but if youīve been active in academics or in clinical experience since your graduation, there may not be much difference in comparison. hope this helps.

well i wud agree but after the reminder that step 2 CK is easier if u've freshly finished step 1 patho..it takes a lot of 'memirization' load of..if i were to take it without step 1, it wudnt be that ez

I would also like to add that step 3 is the worst and toughest. Because by the time you take it, you are sick and tired of the exams and so you just try to get it over with and then it throws you a curveball.
