Does Marijuana cause hallucinations?
(It says so in FA, but I doubt it)

I just did an NBME ? where they had a patient who smoked an "unusual weed" who became delirious, then began hallucinating and lost consciousness.
So NBME acknowledges this fact but just not specific enough.

"unusual weed" could mean that it had something mixed in it? or the effects of the weed itself produced hallucinations?

I have no idea! Maybe it was some weed from a different country that was organic or something. Who knows?!
But BRS actually lumps marijuana with LSD and PCP so they list them all as the same psychological and physical effects of use. And you don't have to be growing up in the 60s to know that LSD gives you hallucinations.
