Does pain effect the ADH secretion?
is ADH SECRETION INCREASED POST OP?OR IS IT JUST ALDOSRTERON WHICH ACOUNTS FOR THE RETENTION OF NA AND WATER???

Yep ADH is secreted (inappropriately) postop especially if the surgery was a traumatic one...
it also increases in periods of nausea, pain, stress, nicotin and morphine intake
