what is difference b/w preliminary position & transitional year?
Is it easy to get for IMGs?what r advantages of prelimnary IM residency?

If u r new to residency in USA take prelim/TY..... or if u want to do advanced residency then take Prel/TY.
Its not at all easy for IMGs.
They don have much advantages but people have diff opinion though
