CONGRATULATIONS. you finished neuro. it is so volatile so you are not alone. i look at the beautiful tracts i have pasted on my wall. but for the fact that it is my writing, i could swear that i have nto read that portion. but guess what, i will perseve. i will keep at it and nto be discouraged.

i am back sorry for not posting i have been reading but noposeting i am literally scared shitless now my exam is in a month i am soscared but after reading about the post on someone only studying for 3 weeks and only FA has got an 83 it gives me hope. well i have not been actively studying this last two weeks i had started biochem went throught molecular bio but it seemed that it was my first time that got me so pissed i had only alloted 4 days for biochem b/c i had done genetics but it took me more than that just to do molecular bio i had started metabolism but still did not feel comfortable with molecualr bio will have to do soehting about that i scored a 40 on the q bank questions regarding this subject which is awful at this stage then i was helping my husband he has his final these weeks took a week out of my schedule at least whenthe final finish he can take care of our daughter at night so i can concentrate decided to ick up anatomy and go over it b/c i never really went over basic anatomy will give only one day for that and then pick up biochem tommorow please guys pray for me i am getting anxious i literally was shaking last night when i though of the exam u would think that it get me out of the bed and study but it just made me anxious and depressed i cannt extend no more the exam june is my last month i alredy paid for th exam twice please pray guys

yes, it is natural to be anxious in the last month but use the anxiety positively. dont be bogged down by thinking of stuff you have not read or by stuff you ahve forgotten. when you feel down, just pick up your favorite subject and revise that rather than the one that is a drag. you will have a sense of achievement. that will help you get back in the stream of stuff. then stop looking at what you have left but focuss on what you have achieved for the day. hopefully, you will manage the anxiety better over time. i was in a similar situation 2weeks ago so i stopped thinking of deadlines and rather i started thinking in terms of successful days!!!

well did study until three last night did all anantomy but lower limb will start that after posting then bio chem meatabloism and some questions form q bank just extended my q bank forked over another 200 dollars wondering if i should by the FA q bank that is out for one month i've heard is 59 dollars but then i do not think i have enough time we will see

i finished anatomy did q bank scored 50 so decided to review upperlim and lowerliml nerve lesion and cranial nerves i am not going to spend that much time on anatomy i still have patho and physio pahrma left so today am doing biochem matablism plan ot finish it tonight tomorrow pharm general and ANS the most impr please pray for me guys i want ot finish my review by the 31 totake nmbe i am really scared i know i keep on saying that but with the exam coming closer and closer the more anxious i get i mean this is our life here a boy studying in this library for step 1 got a 78 and u used to see him studying he was diligent s iam getting freaked

We can understnd how u feel.
But dont worry this too will pass, n after this is over... U will neverhav to do this scary thing again.. just keep doing something everyday. memorize FA cold . This will give u confidence...
after this is over u will forget these days like a bad dream... Thinking like this always gives me confidence... to go on

i almost finished general pharma kast night trying to get it cold will finish that now and gestarted with my systems review first is GIT will do physio patho and pharma i hopw since i have done patho physio only three months ago that it will be quicker to review guys is there anything that helps give u stamina and stay awake i studied until three last nigh but coouldnt get up in the morning i want to get up at 7 at least i find studying at night and early in the morning very fruitful b/c less distractions( husband daughter t.v )well if u have any suggestions please post

ok finished git last nigh went to sleep at 3;30 god i was tired wook up this mornign at 9 had breakfast did git drus am not going to lie i only did it from first aid i am thinking of doing all the drugs other than general pharma and ans from first aide and cvs do u think that is a good idea just that pharma book is kiling me well i forgot git included kliver do will start liver now but seriously i do not know how some post they do 100 pages a day i try but only get to 50-60 i need more satmina after liver i will start resp but before all that right now i will do 50 quaestion it it so hard to put time in to do questions u want to finish your revies which literally takes all day but ofcourse u have to do questions i will try to do 50 questions a day until my nmbe then maybe 100 we will see

well i am back i try to study at home now b/c it takes alot to come t library well fiished the liver and repro physio patho and pharma and started resp finish physio and some of patho am going to do questions after this post pray my scores will raise trying to finish all topics by end of may pray for me guys still am very anxious

sorry for not posting but going onine takes precious time i read all your posts even though i do not post on them well did finish resp and blood and cvs going to strt kidney score sre rising not in the 70 range yet but i have hope i have decided that not to stress out i will try my best if i fail allah forbid but if i do i will try again and if i score less i will make it up on step2 this has lifted a load off my shoulders studying has become easier and profitable so guys i believ that we just have to stick to our guns and pray for the best

hi, good to see you so positive. I think usmle is like a great discovery of oneself. we discover so many new things. We must learn new things. like Mastering our fears. For an extended period of time. :-) now thats tough. I have constant trouble with this. :-(

ok i did finish cvs and renal but when i did questions i scored bad i cried last night i cannt extend my exam it is not possible i have ehard there are some who bring their scores in q bank up 20% in one month i pray that i will be one of them am doing endo and trying to finish this revision am thinking of not giving nmbe b/c i cannt cancel anyhow and if i score less it will take the wind out of me my conc flatters at times need more energy i bought fa quaetions also just to see where i stand there got 65 so far dont know how well does this correlates i need to finish my review and it is already the fifth where does the time go god help me
oray for me guys am in desperate need of prayers

dont let qbank get you down. i am not doign well in it either. i scored 25% last time i did it!!! i am not discouraged. i got a whole lot of questions from areas i have not studied yet so of course i failed. i am more determined to increase my knowledge base. i believe that next time, i will score not less than 50%. just keep going. that is the secret. the more you read, the more you know.
i also have a problem with when to do NBME. if i do it now, i wll not score high and that may depress me, so i will wait for 2 weeks and sit it. that will be 1 week to my exam. if i do not do well enough, i will postpone the exam. i am lucky that i stillhave validity till sept. but i believe that i am 5x better this week than 2 weeks ago so i will be 5x better in 2 weeks time. so what does that mean? in 2 weeks' time, i wil be optimal!!! so i continue to study and i continue to encourage myself. get yourself a big bouquet of red or orange or pink flowers and put it on your desk!!!!

thanks for the drop in tolito i am sorry i ahve not written in your diary times just seems to fly i pray for u i know u will do good well i am still trying my best have finished endo did general patho now doing general physio and the review all that other stuff agian it has only been three weeks since i have done the other topics but it seems l;ike a long time ago need to refresh my memory only when i feel i am ready i will give nbme maybe a week before my exam there are lots of prople who bring their score up by 10 points inn one month i pray to be one of them i will try my level best yesterday was funny i score a 60 on one exam i was real upset i thought where did all that prep go then did another set of 50 question at night and got a 72 i was so happy couldnt even go to sleep this was only through the grace of god i pray that all my exams from here on in will be in the 70 's range to score a decent score
