:roll: HI, I´M MEXICAN, I PLAN TO TAKE STEP 1 FOR THE FIRST TIME ON FEBRUARY 27, 04. I HOPE I´LL DO IT WELL. I´M GETTING 72% ON Q BANK KAPLAN IN THE GENERAL MEAN.
MY QUESTION IS: WHICH ARE THE REAL CHANCES TO AN IMG OR LATIN TO GET A POSITION IN GENERAL SURGERY RESIDENCY?, DO YOU KNOW ANYONE?, I´VE HEARD IT´S REALLY TOUGH, SO I FEEL  BECAUSE IT´S MY DREAM.

I have the same goal than you. I want to be a surgeon and that is it.
How am I going to get there, hard work and hope for a blessing.
One thing I know for sure, I want to be a surgeon.

 Hi, I´d like to thank you for your answers, you are very good people, I have investigated a little and now I know that >20% of general surgery residents are IMG, so thinking on it and of course, the main thing, with my effort and hard work I´m going to be a surgeon and a very good one. :wink:
