I would say local metabolic control is most important in the kidneys to cleanse the blood of waste and least important in the skin in cool weather The units I look at are [ ml/ min/per 100 gms of tissue]

On second thought Id say local metabolic control of circulation is most important in the vessls under fright ,fight or flight situations.

Most important for skeletal ms during exercise. Ms has both sympathetic and local control, during exercise local control become important….vasodilator like lactate, adenosine, K+ accumulate. Another site is cerebral circulation where circulation cotrolled exclusively via local metab……CO2 and pH. Least imp site is skin where control mainly via sympathetic system.Even the temp regulation is via sympathetic control

I'd say cerebral circulation is most important, and, yes, skin is least.
