Which tests need fasting before measurement?
What happnes to TG and LDL if person doesn't fast before measurement?

According to Goljan:
The formula is: LDL= CH-HDL-(TG/5)
Fatty diet mainly contains Chylomicrons contining TG.
Not fasting before a lipid panel test will falsely INCREASE TG because of diet derived Chylomicrons, and falsely DECREASE LDL!
I found this interesting.
