Which beta blockers are eliminated thru the kidneys. acebutalol, atenolol, betoxalol + every LOL that they got! In other words ALL the LOLS.

 you have me confused here cos all betablockers end in LOL. Those with short half life are lipophilic and are eliminated via liver eg propanolol, metoprololo and pindolol. those with long half life are water soluble and are excreted via the kidney eg atenolol, sotalol, nadolol.

Sorry about the confusion. But thats what I was looking for nadalol and atenolol, Isee you added sotolol. Interesting because I always thought lipophilic was longer acting then hydrophilic.

thanks for replying. that is what my source says that lipophilic are short acting. i don't remember what the source is but i will search. when i find it, i will let you know.
