yes, there is significant difference between the first (2000, 310 pages) and second (2004, 432 pages) editions of 'Robbins and Cotran Review of Pathology' - case-based MCQs are much longer and there is comprehensive examination chapter in the second edition. http://www.us.elsevierhealth.com/product.jsp?isbn...

Robbin's review ROCKS, best source for path mcqs! Questions could get picky, but the advantage is that you can do mcqs after studying each subject, I mean you dont have to wait until you read the whole path material to start doing mcqs such as qbook. Highly recommended. And yes it is different.

Hi p53. The site that u reffered to mentions 432 pages in the book while amazon says it has 419 pages. How's that? Do u have the book? Can u plz explain this? Thanks.

get credit card (visa classic or master card standard) and buy it from www.amazon.com I guess amazon hasn't added roman numerals of the 'content' and 'preface' to the page number. I agree with mazinger - Dr. Klatt is just too great - you can see his photography and biographical info here: http://www.med.fsu.edu/FacultyProfile.aspx?active... 'Robbins and Cotran Review of Pathology' is the best thing ever created for the USMLE Step 1 pathology preparation. New 'Robbins and Cotran Atlas of Pathology' by Dr. Klatt is going to be released on 05/19/2006: http://www.us.elsevierhealth.com/product.jsp?isbn... I guess it also will be the great tool to ace the board.

robbins review is great, i think if you can master these questions the q's on the actual exam will seem easy. some very picky and detailed q's.
