please please post your USMLE WORLD SCORE thread separately as it is most commonly used source.also it would be better to write in detail how you use it i mean, first time, tutor mode, timed mode etc as every one uses it differently, so score changes accordingly.
i dont know whether you guys agree with me or not, most people write very high UW scores(70-80), which scares average students like me, i am just scoring 55, then i feel that i wont pass .i believe there can be some genius people who can score so high, but those are very few.so please i request you to make it clear. thank you

Please post,we r waiting.I am sure people who do topic-related Qns just after doing that topic will get more than those doing mixed after having done the subjects 15 dayswback.
Dia,I am starting UW on 21st.I'll be in constant touch(provided i dont  get too low scores hopefully) . Why dont u post what /how long u prepared before coming to UW.I''ll join in a few days.

Used it as a learning tool basically.Made extensive notes of the explanations...plan to revise those now.Won't do the questions again though...not enough time.

313 people viewed this post,but none is coming out w/ their experience about UW.
 Its ok if u dont mention your score. Can u please just post "anything" related to UW. like how do u fare in surgery compared to other UWsubjects. How to improve paeds score (if someone did manage to!).
Come on people.I need your advice.Any senior member?

well guys surgery and obg are quite hard on usmleworld.but i,m sure you will do better once u do another read of kaplan and attempt the wrong questions...i improved drastically after my second read..its all about having the relavent points stick in your mind.keep going

guys I am still half way through. I have avg of 59%. I timed myself, but random blocks of 25(in tthe beginning) or 46. I am making notes, which I plan to review the last 2 weeks.

hi shyma, i am reading UW 2nd time,i didnt make notes on first reading . now i am doing in timed mode & writing the explanations of incorrect ones only. hope it helps.

obgyn 62%
psych 68%
biostats 58 % (i dont know why i felt pressurised/scared while solving even though my time mngm was fine.i think as an img i am not used to soving stats?! i got 3-4 qns wrong though i knew them v.v. easily. i think i just need practice to get the scare out of me)
ophtho 70 % (i read kap+crush+saw ophthalmoscopic pics on google,that helped me in memorising kap better,not in solving qns)
DERMA 71% (though i am still NOT confident.shall do more google for pics & cases)
preventive 60% (do the website recommended by phulong's post.its a must)
so thats my 2 cents.avg 63.4. 2ndread kap+UW timed topicwise+taking extensive notes.i donot write everything blindly ,but think a lot while analysing the explanations.
