yes ı also think major depresyon...in depresion steroids(like cortizol) secretion increasing and lenfosites reactivity to antijen decreased ....

What about immune response in depression...isn't it lowered?!

the q doesnt give all the nec features of major depression . but stress can increase the cortisol levels in the body which can alter the immune response so i go with the ans a

ITS A.INC CORTISOL DEPRESSES IMUNE RESSPONCE.PROLACTIN LEVEL INCREASE IN STRESS.

why you think it is MDD?

think about the diagnosis criteria of MDD!

she feel stress, not means she is depressed!

dose she have sleep problem, thought of un-worthness of herself, lose interest or suicide ?

the stem doesnt give features of major depression 5 criterias should be met. for a depression which is not the case here.so its A
