hi there,
any indians what is the q book i joined the videoprep course of kaplan last week i did not get any extra q book.what is kaptest , kaplan simulated cd , q- bank r they one and the same what is the online q bank what is the online q banks advantages? i have just started my prep when do i use these q book or q bank? what source of books do i use for simultaneous prep with each subject when do i use the q book and q bank
than q
plz....... clear my doubts

if you joined kaplan prep at a kaplan center then you should have recieved kaplan notes (for all subjects 8 of them) plus the q bopk which has about 600+ questions. Kaplan q bank is online (1 month access is about 150USD) and it has about 2000 q. Some people have them copied on CDs and they are floating around. I am doing Kaplan notes + BRS + as many questions I can lay my hands on. Kaplan simulated CD should also come with Kaplan notes (it has one full length USMLE exam), plus uu should get another full length test at Kaplan. Hope this helps

I have another related question. I am planning to take the q-review with my sister, who is also studing , it has a 6 months access, can we acess one account at the same time, she is in a different state then mine, just curious to know, otherwise both of us have to shell out $449 each, which might be wasted as we plan to take the exam in 4 months and not 6.
