the latest table shows the number of img s matched this year lesser than last year....
so life gets tougher......

Looks like stats for IMGs went down. Last year 57% matched and this year only 48%. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also the number of IMGs in the match seems to be more.

I am a math atheist, but if the number of IMG's in the match is more, wouldn't that the reason why the number matched would be lower?

But this is not my strong field.

That's absolutely true if the number of positions that IMGs got overall remained the same..

amazing statistics! 9.4 ranks per position! it raises our ego,people who matched

this stat doesnt show many more evident things.

this is not a clear picture for IMGs especially Non-american IMGs

Please correct me if I m wrong: 9.4 ranks per position overall(see my above post). The percentage of AMG & other categories which matched is higher than IMG. Which means that we as IMGs pull the statistics to the other edge. So for IMGs the ranks/posit = >>9.4

All I want to say is that this yr was very competitive and I think, that to be matched without USCE + need H-1 is an achievement.

I agree with u fetus.even though i didnt match. i feel what u say is true.sadly i had usce.but just bad luck.where did u match?
