I prematched at St Joseph Hospital, Chicago. There are too many people in this forum to thank to mention. I would like to thank you all, especially the people who have matched in previous years that have posted their experience in the forum.
2002 graduate, 95/93/85 1 month USCE. Need Visa.
It took me 6 months to study for Step 2, I went for Kaplan Classes in India and it help a lot!
I used Kaplan Q bank
NMS CD
USMLE world
NMBE and used the correlations.

may I ask you by what time I should submit my application forms for 2007's match? How important is usce for the match? what program would you recommend that provides this usce? Thanks a lot  ...congrates again

and you had good scores. one more question ak2006, if you do not mind, what did you match into- int med?

congrats ak2006.i am an img preparing for step2 ...i plan to take it in august and cs by sepember.do u think this schedule is fine.
how much time does one need to prepare for cs and what are the books that one has to read..thanks

Sorry for the delayed reply, I wished that you guys just emailed me.
Here are your answers:
For Step 2 CS, one month is good enough. You will need a practice partner to do all the cases and examinations.
No Ophtho for IMGs I am afraid, thats what I know so far.
I prematched with IM - categorical
Apply to programs early within first week of September. I applied on the first day.
I used USMLE world for Step 2 CS and first aid for Step 2 CS
