please share your credentials, like 1.IMG or AMG(Citizen/GC)/years since graduation/usmle scores-step1,2ck,cs,3 4.US Clinical Experience/5.visa requirements (H1B,J1,GC,OTHER) 6.How many programs u applied to (preferably list)/7.how many. interviews u got & where/8.where and what specialty you matched in. pls come forward for a noble cause.

IMG--India < 1 year step-1 91 step-2 CK92 step-2 cs-waiting step-3 in august/sept USCE--observership 2 months Visa- J1, H1(anything will do good) I applied to 10 programmes in December U must have guessed how many interview I got. Matching.....Is it possible to match without an interview? (I wish it were) Myself a future candidate.....I advise myself to keep my mouth shut. wait for 1 yr .

img 2004 grad no usce need visa 99/260 99/251 cs pass efmg cert 82/201 applied to 90 programs got about 6 interviews lincoln medicalbronx, john hopkins sinai baltimore, jersey shore university program, roger williams rhode island, michael reese chicago, rochester general hospital, ny interviewed at 3 roch, john hopkins, roger illiams 1 interview got cancelled Michael Reese Program(which i was glad because i didnt like the program anyway) didnt attend 2 because i didnt like the programs ranked only rochester general matched

IMG/2002 grad. creds:92/97/certified/no usce/need visa J1/H1 applied to 35 programs. got 8 interviewes. attended only 2. ranked 1...matched(community prog)IM categorical. for future applicants...scores are important to get u intc calls...after that it all depends on the interview.be confident and ready to charm the PD.... img-india 2004 grad 98/90/passed/ at time of application applied in oct to 30 IM prog 10 anaesth programs 10 IM interveiws attended 8 2 anaesth interveiws attended both ranked IM programs on top of the list . Ranked according to city rather than the program due to family reasons. matched at a program in dallas tx. Am happy beyond means.
